Ivy League for Two Iraqi Women

Two young Iraqi Kurdish women need your help.
I'm an American who was a university professor in Iraq and I had the privilege of knowing Alka and Azheen as students. I was incredibly proud to hear they have been accepted to two graduate programs for the fall at Ivy League schools.
Alka has been accepted to the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Azheen has been accepted to Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs.
Both were excellent students, with the top GPAs in their departments at university.
But two years of graduate school in the US is very expensive, especially when you come from a developing country still fighting ISIS and the economy is suffering. And there are no student loans available here like in the US. Iraq and Kurdistan need brave, brilliant, strong, compassionate women like Alka and Azheen to rebuild the country and both are preparing to be future leaders. Iraq has a shortage of qualified professionals in government and it needs heroic young women like Alka and Azheen to lead the way.
The funds needed are only to be used to cover tuition not covered by scholarships and financial aid, room and board for the high cost of living in New York City and Boston, and airfare from Iraq. Any donations beyond their needs will go to other Iraqi students in need going to US universities. For Alka and Azheen to take advantage of this great opportunity, they need your help or they are not sure how they will have enough money to finish without leaving their families in Iraq deeply in debt.
