Hi Everyone
We at All in 1 SPOT are looking to raise money for one of our clients. Sophie was born a micro-premie. At birth she weighed 1lb, 6oz and spent 6 months in the NICU. She came home on oxygen but otherwise was a healthy baby girl. At the age of 2 she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy caused by complications after her early birth. She just celebrated her 3rd birthday and is making great strides in therapy. She can sit up unassisted for very short amounts of time, can stand holding on to something, and recently learned to "army crawl".
Sophie has the opportunity to be involved in an intensive therapy program this summer that uses Therasuit technology to provide gains in strength and significant strides toward sitting, crawling and walking.
Unfortunately insurance will not cover a majority of the cost of the program. Help us get Sophie to the next level! The research is clear for children with CP- the best outcomes will be achieved if she is sitting and standing by the age of 4. 99% of children with Sophie's type of CP will walk if they can achieve those milestones by 4 years old. Sophie has been evaluated and is an excellent candidate for Therasuit. We would like to get her started in the program this summer. We need to raise $4,500.00 by July 1st. This is the amount that Sophie's insurance will not pay toward the therapy.
Let's all get together to help this smart, funny and spunky little girl reach her potential and succeed. I know Sophie and her family will be forever grateful for this opportunity.
