Adoption, Making Caleigh a Big Sis!

Hello everyone. First off, this is very difficult to reach out to complete strangers for help. My husband and I throughout our relationship have always been able to get through any thing and just make things work. And we have had great success in doing so through the good bad and the ugly, ultimately becoming stronger and stronger along the way.
I'd like to start off by giving you a little bit of our history. My husband and I met 9 years ago while on a training exercise in El Paso TX.  We instantly had a conection and our friendship grew and grew.  It wasnt long before we knew we hadnt crossed paths by chance, and we were meant to be together.  We hadnt been together a year and my husband was deployed overseas. When he returned, there was a lot we had to overcome, and although it wasn't easy for us to get to where we are today, I'm so proud of us,  and I'm  so proud of the man he has become today.
We always knew we wanted to start a family. The time came and we were ready to start trying......month after month, no luck. We resorted to getting tested after 2 years of trying. Long story short, they discovered both my fallopian tubes were blocked and we started IVF. Unfortunately, all 3  cycles failed.  With our doctor's advice we decided surgery to unblock my tubes was next, and it was a success!  Finally we were making some progress. Then there was positive pregnancy test 3 months post surgery,   which ultimately ended, resulting in a tubal pregnancy. ( So....that's our fertility/relationship history in a nutshell) We decided to just let life take its course and stop pressuring ourselves to conceive. So, after a fairly long engagement, we planned to get married Thanksgiving day Oct 11 2014. My husband and I were putting our wedding favors together in our dining room when I heard my phone go off. It was a close friend of mine, who knew of our fertility struggles  and reached out with the most incredible sentence I have ever heard.."hey girl, have you and Darryl considered adoption? Because I know of a baby girl due in November....let me know your thoughts". Right then and there we knew that this was our daughter and that this was our positive pregnancy test! From there on it was a crazy, emotional and  intense ride, from weekend courses, to booking flights and juggling appointments with adoption practitioners and florist (planning a wedding at this time ) it was so busy and stressful, and invasive. ...but worth every nail biting minute. Our priorities went from wedding planning to baby planning in an instant.
We cancled our venue to help with all the cost associated with an adoption, homestudies, lawyers fees, transportation and lodging for almost a month in Nunavut ( our daughter is Inuk) Financially, emotionally and mentally it was incredibly stressful.....but luckily we had been saving for a while and had our wedding money to fall back on.
I'm so happy to say that everything worked out in the end and we have and amazing, smart, funny and beautiful little girl who is now 19 months old. She is the light of our life and we can't imagine our life without her.  We have an open adoption and our daughter two amazing birth parents and 4 older siblings up north. We keep in contact with her biological family via social media and through phone calls. They are so amazing and we owe so much to them for their selflessness.
My husband and I have been doing a lot of thinking  in the last few weeks about expanding our family and making our precious baby girl a big sister. We want to adopt again from Nunavut.  We have never asked for help before. The money raised will cover the cost of our flights to and from Nunavut for the 3 of us. Our hotels and meals while up there, all the lawyers fees, practitioners fees, criminal checks, airport parking. When we adopted our daughter the costs were approximately 25 000 dollars in the end.  We plan on saving all we can and making up any of the extra cost above what we are trying to raise.  We are taking a leap of faith tonight as I write this. My husband isn't very keen on the idea of all this....but he has done so much for our family and I wanted to try and make this work for us by whatever means necessary. So here I am, asking for help, to make the most amazing little girl a big sister and bring home our second child and complete our little family. Sending you all love and thanks. I plan on removing this add in a week or so if we see nothing has come of it. Please if anything. ...wish us luck! !!! Thanks so much!!!
