Angi's 2000 Explorer needs some repairs, but her fixed income makes this impossible. Angi is a disabled former EMT and vet tech, was highly active in TNR and fostering, and remains a champion for pet rescue and animal. Currently she cares for former fosters who were deemed "unadoptable".
12 years ago Angi's health took a dramatic turn and she was as a result unable to work due to complications from Systemic Lupus. More recently surgery to help make life less painful nearly killed her after contracting MRSA during spinal surgery.
Angi needs her truck fixed so she can safely reach her medical appointments, fetch food and supplies for the 10 kitties she fostered and still cares for, and generally get around for groceries and such. Red is a 2000 Explorer with a good engine and transmission. She estmates needing $1100 to repair an exhaust leak and some front end work. Red is a paid off vehicle and she couldn't find any used car in the area as well suited to her needs for the cost of these repairs.
