Myself (Alicia McIntire) and 5 other women are getting ready to embark on the third trip across America with our organization, Without Borders. The trip will occur July 1-31, 2016.
This team will be traveling the country meeting families with children awaiting an organ donation and help them get their story out and raise the funds needed to relieve them of financial burden. Along the way, we will be helping and loving other people that we meet.
We believe that the love of Jesus speaks louder through actions than through words, and that to love outrageously and give freely is the way to spread the Gospel that our team is called to as we travel.
Our inspiration this year comes from a little girl, Ember Rayne Carey, who we met our first trip (seen in the photo above) in 2014. She lost her battle while waiting for her second heart transplant this past November, and we feel called to live on her legacy by sharing the stories of people fighting the same battle she so courageously fought.
