Faiza's Volunteering Trip to Kenya

Hi everyone,

My name is Faiza Abdulkadir and I'm a final year International Business student at Kingston University.  This summer, ten students and I will be volunteering in Nairobi, Kenya with Agape Volunteers .

We will be working in understaffed and underfunded Orphanages, Internally Displaced Person Refugee Camps, Schools and Agape's Football Academy.

I would like to raise £500 to purchase materials needed at the different places I will helping at which are:

1. Bracelets for the children in the orphanages
(To create unity and togetherness)

2. School Equipment for underprivileged children

3. Toiletries for the innocent people in refugee camps
(Razors, wipes, sanitary towels, toothbrushes, etc.)

4. Footballs for Agape's Football Academy


However, if I do find out any materials or things that are needed to support Agape Volunteers, I will be buying it when I am out there! Just to let you all know I will be funding my trip to Kenya so all your donations will go towards the materials and anything needed to support those in need.

The deadline for donations is 5th June 2016, as I will be travelling to Kenya on 29 June 2016.

(Donations made after the 5th June will be used whilst I'm out there)

Please note: Any extra money left over will be given to those in need in the local area.
