Elizabeth and Maddison are a mother & daughter team who volunteer in a program in Vietnam that provides a vital role in improving the lives of some very special children. These children come to the centre from families who are unable to look after them due to their disability or who have no family.
Helping Hands is a non profit organisation established by a fellow aussie who like us fell in love with the country and people of Vietnam and took it upon himself to create a program that provides love, support, rehabilitation and independance to the most vulnerable children in Vietnam.
Terry has affected great change in the programs he runs but there is still a long way to go and a long list of items and services needed.
While the centre is in desperate need of many things the area Maddy and I have chosen to focus on is to provide resources that will develop indepence in the children. This is vitally important to improve their quality of life as a teenager and adult living in the Centre. Your donation will be used to pay for a vietnamese staff member to work in the Helping hands program providing vital care for the children.
Once this goal is reached any additional funding will be used to purchase mobility aides for the children as these are difficult and expensive to purchase in Vietnam.
