Help Luis (Alex) Rivera Fight Leukemia
Dear Family and Friends,
I am starting this fund on behalf of my boyfriend Luis Rivera. Luis was diagonsed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on April 26th, 2016. He was immediately hospitalized at Loyola Medical Center and is undergoing chemotherapy treatments every 21 days for the next 8 months. Not to mention blood transfusions and routine hosptial visits.
Luis is trying to keep a positive out look on life and fighting this battle of cancer. Despite the everday challanges of fighting off fevers, body pain, chills, vomiting, sore throats, nausea and low blood cell counts which cause him to be extremely weak and fatigue.
Unfortunatley Luis is unable to work at this time. And there's no telling when he will be released to go back to work.
Many have asked what we can do to help. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. This will help take the finacial stress that comes along with a lengthly illness off his shoulders. And help pay the enormous amount of bills that will be coming in. No matter the amount you donate, your gift can help in more ways than one. Luis has a long beautiful life ahead of him, he will fight this battle. He is the strongest person I know with the biggest heart in the world. Please keep him in your prayers.
