Help me get to Philly!

When I first heard of Bernie about a year and a half ago, I started feeling the Bern almost immediately. So when I learned of his run for the Democratic nomination, I signed up to help. It was the first time I was ever involved in anything political, outside of voting. I initially helped gather signatures to get Bernie on the primary ballot in Illinois. Then, I decided to get my own name on the ballot as a delegate for Bernie in the 15th congressional district in Illinois. Thanks to my fellow Berners, I received the most votes of any Dem delegate candidate in my congressional district, securing a spot at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
As you've probably heard, the trip is an expensive one. I've secured much less expensive lodging, but will still have travel and transportation costs, not to mention taking the week off work. So, I'm asking for your help.
I have gone door to door in Illinois and Indiana, phonebanked, texted, marched and posted incessantly on my personal Facebook page, as well as 2 Bernie pages I run. I will continue to dedicate whatever time I can in the days leading up to the convention and beyond to ensure that our message doesn't die! It's time for a change and it starts with us!
