Danica Murray is an incredible 15 year old young lady. She is full of love and light and is living with Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a life threatening genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and progressively limits the ability to breathe. Danica is truly a fighter who defys CF odds daily....not only does she have to balance life around hours and hours of daily respiratory treatments and juggle countless medications; but Danica is a Taekwondo Black Belt and an avid competitor in this grueling contact sport!

Danica is a Hero who inspires so many to be kind and to never give up or back down from a challenge... she truly embodies what it means to be a Black Belt! While Danica fights daily, often just to breathe, the daily grind takes a toll on her and her family not only emotionally but financially as well. The cost of living with CF is immense. -Daily therapies, medications, and weeks upon weeks of hospital stays can be overwhelming. Danica and her family often have to miss out on important athletic events and special opportunities due to the heavy financial burden placed upon them.
