On behalf of my team, I would like to thank you all for your on going support of our endeavours. Since the release of my debut album Sofa King Amazing , we've received nothing but positive feedback from the press, and fans, both locally and internationally. From your attendance at our shows, to several award nominations throughout the year, you've encouraged us to continue our movement independently, and for this reason we are reaching out to you to partner with us in taking our movement to Africa and back with ANKHFEST!
THE MISSION
Our friends "Poetics Africa" have invited us to join them on a 6 city 8 show tour in South Africa, including work shops, plus visits to local schools and orphanages. We'll be performing in Cape Town, Gugulethu, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, plus more. They've been gracious enough to provide us with accommodations in South Africa.
THE DOCUMENTARY
My good friend and videographer Mark Valino (director of MuchFACT funded and Prizm Prize nominated music video BLACK BODY ), and I will be to shooting a documentary of our Ankhfest tour of South Africa.
