Many people know that we, The Wagners, moved to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in September to adopt our second daughter, Leila. In fact, the pic on this page is of Lizzy, Leila, Maisey, and Dan as we visited Barahona Province after Christmas, Leila's home area. It is now February, and we are literally days away from coming home as a full family!
As I have said, God has been with us in this journey, and only by his grace have we survived three months of life here as a family, then another two months apart as Dan had to return to Colorado and go back to work.
Having some extra travel for Dan to be with the family has increased our travel deficit and overall adoption budget by $2,500. This final amount will help pay for our tickets home on the 18th of February, barring any more delays on the US Immigration side (and we're praying hard that there aren't any!). With this in mind, we've raised our original $1,000 (we received $1,100) to $3,600.
Though many have given of their hearts, and many others of their own resources, we are humbly asking for just a little more to get over the final hump.
