Replace items destroyed by arson

Last night at around midnight we were alerted by a neighbour that our van was on fire and that 2 men had been seen breaking the passenger window, pouring petrol in and setting it alight, this happened outside my parents house in the Springfield Road area in Belfast. The police and fire brigade attended the scene. Thankfully nobody was hurt although my 90yr old grandmother and disabled parents were in the house at the time and are all very shaken and upset. My brother is a motorbike racer and needs the van to transport his bike and gear to and from racing events around the country. His leathers, helmet, motorbike tyres, toolbox etc were in the van and have been completely destroyed along with a lot of camping equipment (gazebo, tents, sleeping bags etc). We have no idea why our van was targeted, possibly jealousy seeing my brother is doing well and getting some recognition for his racing career, who knows. Our family between us have worked extremely hard to get him to this point in his racing career and in one fell swoop it has been left in tatters with thousands of pounds worth of damage that we cannot afford to replace and unfortunately the insurance doesn't cover any of these items. He has a race in Mondello Park this Sunday (22nd May), a track day at Kirkistown the following Sunday and another race the weekend after that and unless we can get him leathers, helmet, tyres and transport etc in time he wont be able to race. Im reaching out to family/friends and the racing community who will understand just how devastating this all is. It will cost approx 3-4 thousand pounds to replace everything. We really hate asking but are desperate and would be extremely grateful if anyone is able to donate any of these items or offer financial assistance to help towards getting them replaced. Whatever you can afford, even if its a couple of pounds would be so helpful. Thank you very much.
