WLC Ultrasound Machine Fundraiser
Donation protected
Crowd funding campaigns are a popular choice for organisations in need of funds to carry on their vital works. The Women’s Life Centre (WLC), like so many services of its kind, rely heavily on the generosity of its supporters.
With this in mind, the Centre is launching a Fund Me campaign in order to purchase an ultrasound machine for its consulting rooms.
The initial benefits of having an ultrasound machine onsite is that the WLC could offer a woman an ultrasound to determine their approximate due date.
To prepare for this opportunity the centre has over the last few months been cleaning, painting, and preparing the second room in their centre as another counselling and ultrasound room. They have also taken steps to employ a nurse who is to be trained in the use of ultrasound technology.
In order to be able to provide this valuable service the WLC is appealing for generous donations towards the purchase of the ultrasound machine, worth $30000.
“Although we realise that it is an ambitious target we are hopeful that the community will be inspired to donate to this worthy cause,” says Peta Evans, director of the WLC.
