Northernmost Bernie DNC Delegate

I'm the northernmost Democratic National Convention Delegate for Bernie Sanders in the United States! I need your help getting to Philadelphia this July for the Democratic National Convention. I am firmly committed to the ideals of the Sanders campaign including getting big money out of politics, universal healthcare, a livable wage and peaceful resolution to our problems. I am 100% committed to having Bernie serve as the next president of the United States. I'm from one of the most rural places in North America, north of the Arctic Circle, in a fly-in only community. That's right there are no roads to where I live, and it's a long long way to Philadelphia!

I need assistance to cover the costs of participating in the convention. The room alone is estimated to cost 2,400.00+ not including the 1,500.00+ airfare. There is literally no one in the country who has to travel farther than me to participate, so I plan on making the most of the convention on your behalf! We need A positive change in this country and Bernie is the guy to bring it with our help.

A little about me: I'm a certified teacher, a former principal, I was 2nd Chief of my Tribe for 7 years, I am married to a wonderful wife who supports my passion for politics and our four children think I am "funny". I have worked for environmental, tribal, and social justice for twenty+ years, and am committed to revitalizing our Gwich'in language. I'm the new Alaska Statewide Chairman of the Democratic Alaska Native Caucus, I serve on the AK Democratic Resolutions committee for the Interior Democrats, and I believe strongly that the Democratic Party has a lot more work to do to bridge the gap with the Alaska Native community.
