A Heart for Carlus

Carlus "Shack" Haywood is in Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, GA in need of a heart transplant or VAD device. He is a very well known part of the Camilla, GA community having been a high school basketball star at Mitchell-Baker High School. He graduated in the Class of '95 . He most recently coached AAU basketball , developing young boys into solid young men and athletes. Always known as a "Gentle Giant" with a big heart, Carlus' natural heart has failed. He now needs the help of family, friends and people of goodwill to help him raise the matching funds needed to be placed on the heart transplant list.
