Edit: Jayce was a member of Project Search. Also, this is completely non-profit. The excess funds can be donated to Project Search and other autism awareness/special needs charities.
The support is overwhelming!! The community support is fabulous! Please remember that we are focused on this prom and I would like to strongly advise anyone making threats to the school or principal to please stop. Let's just have a great prom!

Jayce is a senior at Montgomery Central High School in Clarksville, TN. He is a special needs student and has been attending a feeder program all year at an off-site location. When he was thinking about going to prom he couldn't think of anyone to take as a date. He has no girlfriend or female friends that he felt comfortable going with, so he asked his sister. Sweet Jessica accepted his invitation. Both got dressed up and looked great! Jayce even had a suit bought for him by a friend of his father for $400 and their father made sure both had flowers to wear to the big dance! They took pictures, went to dinner, and even did a bit of shopping before heading to the event with so much excitement! When they arrived, that excitement turned to sadness and tears. Jayce and his family were never informed of the age limit for prom guests. They never realized that his sister was over the age limit. So they were blindsided by the principal of the schooling refusing her admittance. The two were heartbroken and left in tears!
Let's work to make this right! We are going to throw Jayce and Jessica their own prom! We have a venue secured, but the cost is great. We are working to establish sponsors and volunteers, but anything you can donate will go toward covering the costs of the prom. Any extra funds will go to the family and toward the extreme costs of caring for this special young man!
