Lyreco For Education
Donation protected
Hi!
I am doing my first Olympic distance Triathlon on 26th June 2016 at Cholmondeley Castle.
The distance is 1500m swim (3x what i have completed before), providing I don't drown is followed by a 44k bike (2x what I have completed before) and if my legs are still working, I finish with a 10k run....
So what's it in aid of??? The project I'm supporting is called Lyreco for Education, LFE in short.
For my work colleagues, you will know what this great project does already, but for those who don't here goes....
Lyreco champion an amazing project called ‘Lyreco for Education’. Every year we rely on the valuable support we recieve from our emplyees, customers & suppliers to help us make a difference!
The action plan is built around 4 objectives:
To rebuild and renovate school facilities
To improve the quality of education by training teachers and equipping schools
To increase the awareness and involvement of parents regarding the importance of school
To focus on disaster prevention for future cyclones
So Far:
5 countries supported
72,800 children enrolled in schools*
161 schools built*
1,741,628 € collected & delivered to NGOs
That's pretty good eh?
Without your help, we couldn’t have the impact we have and give these children the future they deserve!
Now this is where we need YOUR help................
Any sponsorship greatly recieved, all in aid of a great cause I'm sure you will agree.....
Plus if I drown, I'm sure they won't make you pay up :)
