Saving our Home! (Repairs/Deed)

Two 1/2 years ago I got out of an abusive relationship and took my children to safety at a domestic violence shelter. The government programs available weren't sufficient to obtain housing, and I found myself homeless, in my van with 4 children and one on the way (and with placenta previa, supposed to be on bedrest). It was November, snowing, and all the shelters were full. Having exhausted all options, I found an abandoned house wide open and went in, secured it, and began cleaning it out and fixing it up for my family's survival. It was almost completely scrapped out yet I was able to make it livable by using solar lights, electric and fireplace heat, reuse of gray water, and other clean energy, creative means of getting by. Along the way, being short on cash, I was approached and propositioned by many men willing to "help with repairs" in exchange for you know what. I declined ALL. With extremely limited resources and no family to help, we have gotten by up until now by very meager means, and repairs have not progressed as I'd hoped. Last week CPS came in and deemed the place unlivable because it doesnt measure up to societal standards despite having water, electricity, lights and heat. We have been forced into a shelter and told to walk away from the house. But we have never been closer to ownership of the property, which has gone to the Land Bank. I am fighting for my family to stay in this home, to obtain the deed and complete sufficient repairs in order to return to our home instead of being forced into a low income housing project with no room for future growth or freedom.
