Lily's volunteer work in India

My name is Lily and I am participating in a volunteer program in combination with Antipodeans and my local High School.  This expedition to India will focus on the opportunity to work closely with a local community in providing improvements to infrastructure of local schools, communal buildings and monasteries as examples.  The possibilities are endless if we can achieve a financial goal of more than $10,000.  

The money raised will fund my volunteering services within the communities chosen and will contribute to the building materials and the hiring of local trades people to maintain a source of income and meaningfully contribute to the local community.  
The expedition will be in December 2017, therefore between now and then I will also be partaking in fundraising activities such as cake stalls, B.B.Q's, and carwashes.

This expedition to India means very much to me as this is a brilliant opportunity for those who will benefit from the potential projects and more importantly teaches me to learn valuable life skills in leadership, organisation, time management and fundraising.  

I pledge that if any organisation, company or association donates more than $500 in a single contribution I will wear the company logo during my fundraising activities, and during the projects  that will be undertaken in India.
