ROBERT'S FUND TO SAVE HIS LEGS
Donation protected
I am trying to raise money for my friend and coworker Bob who is homeless. He has been living in his car for more than 2 years now. He has venous reflux and an infection in both of his legs. He can barely walk, but has been throwing newspapers from his car to survive. He has been kicked out of our workplace because of his odor and they think he is contegious.
Robert has been turned down numerous times for medicaid and disability.
He is going to loose his legs if we don't help him.
He has not been able to lay down and elevate his legs or take a shower to keep his legs clean for quite some time now. He uses bottled water to wash.
We so need to help this man. He was an athlete all of his life, and then in 2011 he suffered from a blood clot in his lung, and spent over a week in the hospital and it has lead to this reflux with his legs, and then it is only getting worse when he is unable to lay down or shower, even eat a hot meal.
My goal would be to raise enough money to get him in an apartment for 6 months or so, and then he can fight the fight of battleling for disability, but mostly so he recooperate and get better. If he could elevate his legs and keep them clean, he might have a chance.
If you could see what his life is really like day by day, you would pray every day that this would never happen to anyone you know. It makes me cry.
I really want him to know that there are human beings out here that do care about him. His life matters.
God Bless and please help if you are able, anything will help.
