Dolore's Medical Fund

My name is Ryan and I am coming  to you on this Mother's Day week to start this campaign on behalf of my mother Dolores.  My mother is the kindest, strongest, and most loving woman you will ever meet. This is her story I hope it touches your heart.

 In the beginning of winter/spring of 2015 my mother was enrolled at Radford University in a masters program and was also a elementary school counselor.  We started to notice a few problems like trouble focusing, different personality traits appearing, black outs,and seizures.  As the problems  progressed she started to have problems in school and work which finally led to her having to leave school because of her medical problems with one semester to go to graduate.  As she was trying to finish up her college and was having problems she changed jobs to the job that she was going to start full-time after graduating that semester.  With the increased problems and withdrawing from college the job had no other choice but to let her go

This lead to more stress and problems as we started to try to find answers from multiple doctors. The answers were unfortunately few and far between. Many medicines were tried but nothing seemed to work at all. We however finally started to get some answers at the beginning of the year of this year.. Because of past events in her life her brain was shutting down and turning against her in a effort to protect it self as it could no longer handle the stress of any kind.  We are now slowly start to see some progress and there is a hope of recovery one day. It will be a long and slow road back from recovery but we have hope.

 Unfortunately as this was going on a combination of many falls and depletioning of leg muscle and leg strength took the majority of her walking ability away. She is now in a wheel chair and there is hope she may not need it for the rest of her life but more than likely that is reality. She has always had problems her whole life with walking as she was born without a right hip socket  which mean her hip bone grinds on her leg bone and muscle.

 With the combination of these health problems and loss of job money has became a big issue in our family. Many tough decisions have had to been made and I'm sure many more will be made down the road. My mother need thing we can't afford at the time and hope with your help we can. It does not matter if you donate a penny or a million dollars anything will help and be very appreciated. I leave you with this...
