Vincent Fiorenza's Funeral Fund

Donation protected

My dear friend and roommate, Ashley Fiorenza, has lost her father, Vincent Fiorenza, on April 18th.

He was diagnosed with lung cancer in the beginning of February.  These past few months Ashley and her brother, Andrew, were right by his side taking him to treatments and being a great support system.

While he was a fighter, Vincent suffered a heart attack that ultimately took his life on the night of April 18th. His passing was sudden and unexpected, and the expenses have fallen on them.

I am turning to ask for your help with any donation amounts you can provide.  The money raised will help cover funeral expenses for her father since she and her brother are the only family members he has left.

If you can find it in your heart to give to this very unfortunate situation knowing that these circumstances must be very difficult to deal with. Helping financially will be a great help.

Please help them in this time of need, thank you.

Vincent Fiorenza's battle:

Early February, Vincent Fiorenza was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.

The tumor in his lung was promised to be easily removed. This would then be followed by Chemotherapy.

On March 2nd, 2016, Vincent had his first surgery. Unfortunately, this surgery revealed the cancer had spread to neighboring lymph nodes.

After complications, the middle lobe of the right lung had completely stopped functioning.

On March 6th, 2016, Vincent would enter surgery again, to remove the middle lobe of his lung.

After this surgery, Vincent Fiorenza was finally cancer free.

However, Chemotherapy was still enforced for precautions. On April 18th, 2016 he was scheduled for his first Chemotherapy session.

The session was canceled because his kidney, and liver were starting to deteriorate; alongside dangerously low blood pressure.

Finally, after being admitted to the hospital, Vincent suffered a heart attack that ultimately took his life that night.

After a long battle the war is over for Vincent Fiorenza, and there is eternal peace.
