DIY Tiny House

My name is Melissa and I'm a 23 year old grad student from Southern California. It has been a dream of mine since high school to own a home, and the tiny house movement has made the chance of that becoming a reality right here and now! 

Tiny houses are on their way to becoming the next big thing. There's scattered information and tutorials, and even companies selling pre-built tiny homes. I am doing my tiny house out of an old travel trailer all DIY, and documenting every step in my blog (thetinytrailer.wordpress.com) in the hopes that I can help others walk through the adventure of creating their dream tiny home. It will be fully off-grid and functional.

I just purchased my trailer and began construction, and am hoping to be able to get it all fixed up at the very latest by the end of the summer. All of the money will go of course directly to this tiny home, which will hopefully show others how feasible and amazing tiny living can be! 

I can't even begin to explain how excited I am to make this dream a reality, and most of all to be able to share my journey with others who are considering going tiny.
