Lexi McCalip daughter of Shannon Ausher Below is a copy of what lexis mom posted on Facebook. We will post more updates as we go. We do not know what it costs to go through all of this but the bills are already racking up and it's only the 2nd day. Anything helps, thank you - Lexis brother

Where do I even begin
Lexi started out with a cough that kinda came and left throughout the summer. Sometimes it was strong and most times slight.
July 19th she had a lump show up on her collarbone area. I rushed her to urgent care and they sent us to the ER. They in turn said by her symptoms most likely it was allergy related. But to watch the lump and come back if it didn't shrink down.
It did shrink a little.
2 weeks into it everyone had passed around a flu like bug that everyone lost weight on so we didn't think to much into it. All of our symptoms stopped but hers....weighed her and she was 20 lbs down.
School had started and she was tryin to do gym...couldn't run or do the activities, started puking and tryin to pass out. Failed the physical.
Took her back to the Dr....Ran ALOT of tests.
And now we sit at Children's hospital cancer floor.
Her test came back not so good. I'll try an explain under the pics. They will do a biopsy tom when they get the breathing situation figured out and more ultrasounds. If they can't figure out how she will breath they won't put her under fully. The mass is so large in her chest it's affecting her breathing pretty good. Cough is pretty terrible now and def no energy. Even the slightest simple things she can't do. All this in such a short time. We serve an awesome God and we are believing by faith she will be fully healed in Jesus name. We will know more soon on the results. Please keep her and our family in prayer. It's been very hard on the kids as the "C" word lingers.
The large white ball area in the pics is what is supposed to be there. ALL the grey is not supposed to be there. That is her lungs space that is covered in the mass. It's supposed to be black. So...
I'll try and update as I can or have mom. I'm still in shock and spacing a lot.
