Hope For Hadza

Donation protected
In 2013 I went to Tanzania, Africa on a missions trip sent from our local community church. Our goal was to bring food relief to one of the local tribes. We took 14 tons of corn to the Rift Valley where the Hadza Tribe lives. The Hadza are an indigenous people group consisting of hunters and gatherers. They are under pressure from the government, ecotourism and poachers to live in a settled area away from their ancestral water source. The Hadza have no clean water source for drinking or farming.

In the month of June, 2016, we are heading back to Tanzania to see the completion of a well dug for the Hadza! The well was funded by Treats for Tanzania. T4T initially consisted of three girls from our church who raised over $22,000 by baking cookies, pancake breakfasts, babysitting, garage sales, and you name it. How Amazing is that!

There will be seven teenagers going on the trip this June. It is an awesome opportunity to expand their worldview and to give to those in need. I am honored to be a leader on this trip and I take the responsibility very seriously.

The corn prices have spiked this spring due to drought. Our hope this trip is to bring more corn to the Hadza to help offset their need. We will also bring crude farming implements and install the well pump. We believe this is the help they need and want to become self-sustaining once again.

The monies raised are to buy corn and pay for other needs on this trip. I also want to use my talent as an artist to help these people and to give an opportunity for others to be involved. I would love for you to donate to the cause through the GoFundMe site. Any donations of $100 or more will receive a limited edition signed print of "Hadza Hope”.

Thank You,

Kyle
