Student Parent Organization (SPO)

Hello,

My name is Joshua Reed. I am the director of the Non-Traditional & Veteran Student Services here at K-State. We have a great need here at our university. There are a great deal of student parents struggling to make ends meet everyday;  trying to earn a better life for their family. I got to see these faces everyday. A lot of them feel so hopeless. During the school year we accept donations of children's clothes, car seats, strollers, diapers, etc and we re-distribute these items back to our students in need. There are many students that need assistance and cannot afford these items on their own. My organization works to offer events FREE of charge to these students and their families. We collect goods throughout the year to help families get by while trying to make a better life for themselves. I am currently seeking funds to create more scholasrhips for these students. We are seeking monetary donations to create an account to facilitate this program and perpetuate the success of these individuals and their families.  God bless and thank you!
