As of Jan 8 2013, 49 people, possibly more, have died due to cold. The temperature has reached -3.9 Celsius. The government of Nepal should have initiated country wide relief fund and deploy assistance to prevent deaths occurring from cold. However, no such attempts has been made yet.
Me and my few colleagues aim to reach people who are seriously affected from cold and distribute clothes and provide basic medical assistance to help them cope with the current freezing conditions.
A donation of $15 help to buy a jacket and trouser for one person. We will provide picture of donations made as soon as they are available.
