Operation: Family Rescue

Donation protected
I have never been one to admit when I need help. Lately, I have been asking a lot of my family, and it has been extremely hard for me.  My brother, John, and my mother and stepfather have gone out of their way to help me financially, and it has been an incredibly humbling experience. Today, I am swallowing more of my pride and asking all of you for help. Let me explain why. . .

In June, I took a position with an art gallery in Asheville, NC. To take the leap, I had to leave my amazing fiance and twin girls back in Illinois. Feast your eyes on their unending adorableness:

And her beauty:

It has been hard to be without them for the past two months. Saving up the money to get them here has been impossible with having my income between two places. We planned on getting married on 09/09/19, but have pushed that back since we want to be together permanently once we do get married.

So, here I am, in front of all of you, asking for your help.

We have set a goal for $5000 because we believe that is the amount we will need to secure a place, start utilities, and get Erica and the girls here.

Right now I am living out of our small RV. I ride my bike or walk to work, and when I have to do laundry, it is an hour walk both ways. Not an ideal situation. I am hooked up to power, but no running water, so I have to go to the Y to shower before going in to work. Going grocery shopping is impossible, so I have to pay more to have it delivered. Again, not ideal.

I can handle all of that for as long as it takes.

What I can't handle is not having them here with me.

I am an artist. I have been working on a couple of pieces of pyrography, and I have an idea:

If you all help me reach my goal, then I will give this piece to the person with the highest donation once it is finished:

I have a lot to do to finish this piece, but I promise it will be worth the wait!

It comes down to this:

I miss my girls. I can't get them here soon enough on my own, and I would be forever grateful to any and all of you that are willing to help us out. I hate asking for help, but I have to set that pride aside and do what I have to.

I thank you all in advance for your help!
