Sebastian’s Fight

Hello friends and family, Last month we were all hit hard with the surprising and shocking news of Sebastian’s diagnoses. There were absolutely no warning signs of what was and is growing inside of this ten year old little boys head. After a semi unsuccessful brain surgery (note: they created enough space in his brain for comfort and some better functioning of himself)Unfortunately, they were unable to clear out as much of the tumor as they had wished. Fast forward.....The big meeting with their team of doctors just happened days ago. They brought with them the long awaited pathology report. The report came back worse than the doctors hopes. We are dealing with the worst of the worst!...Pediatric Glioblastoma (advanced stage 4) which the tumor is located on the Thalamus, Hypothalamus and brain stem. Yes, this is very serious. The main doctor said a very emotional, “sorry.” Meaning, he does not have a solution.So what now? Radiation is on the menu to stop the rapid growth of the tumor. (It grows everyday)They will now look for alternative therapies, changing his diet, altering intake of ingestible substances, cultivating good positive energy and whatever else God may bring to light. My goal is to raise enough money for Melany (Sebastian’s mother) so that she can spend every second with her scared little boy. She has a long road ahead caring for Sebastian with all his meds and the endless radiation sessions. (7 days a week/ 6 weeks)Her life is now dedicated to the care of Sebastian’s well being. I do not want her burdened with time away from her child while trying to pay the bills. Please help anyway you can and DO NOT stop the prayers!!!
