Help Me Get To Rakiraki

Hi. I’m Reagan Pilgrim. I’m 16 years old and am in year 11 at Hunter Christian School. Last year I went on a school trip to the sister school of Hunter Christian in Rakiraki in Fiji.
The main goal of the trip was to help with construction of a school project that helps house students from remote islands, so that they can attend high school and receive a proper education. However along the way I developed close friendships with the locals, experienced genuine Fijian culture and discovered what it meant to serve others. This ultimately lead to me coming back from Fiji a changed person with a new perspective on the world around us.
This fundraiser is dedicated to helping me go to Rakiraki once again late next term so that I can help others and further my discovery of what it means to serve and help others.
To show my dedication to my Fiji trip I will be doing a ‘Live Like a Villager’ challenge for 10 days in early June to represent each of the 10 days that I’ll be living in Fiji among the villagers.
This challenge will consist of using no technology, eating only rice, fruit and vegetables, and only sleeping on a grass mat on my floor.
