I've been making survival kits with such essentials as gloves, food, and hand sanitizer for the homeless for a while, thanks to some inspiration from friends of mine and the Christmas spirit, but I'd like to do it a little more regularly.

Now that the warm snap is over, the holidays are here, and winter's harshness is looming, many of us are bustling to buy gifts and get to family's festivities. However, there are some of us who don't have a place to go during what is for most a happy time of year.

Therefore, I ask if you have anything to spare, please donate what you can. I'm trying to reach $1231 by 12/31. Every little bit helps, and all proceeds will go towards creating survival kits to distribute to the homeless.

In a world with so much plenty that's often meted out arbitrarily, and with income disparity at an all time high, please find it in your heart to help those affected by bitter circumstance and pass it on to those you know who also might be able to pitch in. Should I reach this goal, there'll be more where this came from.
