Help Logan fight his Cancer battle
I am reaching out to you all on here hoping you can help me, here's why
Logan has just been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer..
Logan also has Cerebral Palsy, he is 7 years old..his mother (my sons partner) describes him as a bright, happy, loving, clever, determined and considerate little boy.
He has started his chemo treatment at The Manchester Childrens Hospital but he also has to go to America for Proton therapy. The NHS are paying for his treatment but there are lots of other costs involved... no family should have to worry about money whilst their child is ill, please help me raise as much money as we can for Logan.
Here's the final update before I close the account.
Logan is now back at school in Ysgol Tregarth. His last appointment at Christies Hospital was very positive, he has retained a good amount of sight in his eye and his next appointment with them is in 12 months. He has had his last chemo session and on the 3rd of April will have an MRI scan to see how successful the treatment has been. I know that like me... you are all hoping for the best results for Logan.
I would like to say a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you who have donated to Logans fund.
Also to Steven and all the staff at The North Wales Society for the Blind, Bangor for all their fundraidsing events.
Without your kindness and generosity James would not have been able to make so many memories with Logan and Francheska.
Good luck Logan !!
Logan has been in America now for 6 weeks, he's been having his daily Proton therapy as well as the chemotherapy , which is leaving him pretty wiped out as you can imagine.
Despite this the family are managing some trips to see some of the sights that America has to offer. Logan and his sister Francheska have so far been to Disneyworld, Universal Studios, Clearwater Marine, Wildcat Ranch, Jacksonville Zoo, Sea World all thaks to your generous donations.
This week Logan had a special visitor to the hospital ward ...Santa came to see him .
As you can see we have smashed the goal we had set, for this we need to thank all of you that have so kindly donated. We also need to thank The North Wales Society for the Blind, their help in raising money for Logan has been invaluable..adding £5540.78 to the total we raised .
May I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda i chi i gyd o waelod fy nghalon! xx
Logan we wish you a peaceful Christmas and a hopeful New Year.. we are all thinking of you and rooting for you..all the best xxxx
James has been taking him for outings when the treatment allows and Logan feels well enough.. you can see his pictures on facebook 'Logans journey' and read his story in the Daily Post online.
Thank you to all that have donated and made it possible for Logan to have some adventures and make some memories whilst undergoing his treatment.. every penny donated is very much appreciated.
Diolch o galon xx
We are still raising money for Logan, The North Wales Society for the Blind have very generously given him an i pad to help while away the time during his treatment. They are also busy fundraising for him.
There will be a fundraising day at Pant yr Ardd in Tregarth on Saturday the 12th from 3pm, please go along and support them if you are in the area.
Thank you all for sharing and for your generosity
Logan...we wish you all the luck in the world, we will be thinking of you xx
Wishing Logan well with his treatment in America I spent just over 8 weeks there in July for treatment with my granddaughter with the same tumour as Logan but in a different place Emily is doing really well and America was the best option for her if anyone knows Logan's dad he can get in touch with myself or my husband on Facebook if he needs to know anything about Jacksonville or the proton treatment Logan will be getting we wish them all the best
So glad to hear Logan is getting the treatment he needs and managing to get some enjoyment and happy memories from such a difficult time.
