Breast Cancer

Hello! My name is Marisa. I am creative, designer, and very health orientated person. I am a single mother of two ( 8 year old daughter and 3 year old son) In December of 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 2/grade 3 breast cancer estrogen positive. The cancer is very aggressive and chemo is not an option right now. I did a double mastectomy in Jan 2018 and started taking mistletoe therapy with cancer supporting supplements from an integrative doctor. In June 2018, I noticed a new lump has formed on my chest wall and I did a PET Scan at John Hopkins. The cancer is back and in my lymph nodes, neck and chest.

I want you to say thank you in advance for any donation big or small. I really love my kids and I have not told them yet about the breast cancer.  One of my favorite things I enjoy is creating memories with them. My goal is to heal and so I can enjoy my kids for a full lifetime. My kids have taught me so much more than I could I ever taught myself. My kids are my greatest gift and I want to be able to give back to my kids what they have given me. 

I am now taking two hormone blockers (ibrance and tamofexin) prescribed by my oncologist at John Hopkins. Because of my background as holistic health coach. I am very aware of how the body can heal itself. I would like to approach the cancer in both conventional and integrative sides.  The integrative side is very expensive with blood work, IV therapies and supplements that are not covered by insurance. The integrative doctors appointments are very expensive and as I single mother I am trying to balance a lot of different things.
