POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER

Welcome. I am raising money to enable me to help people in my local rehabilitation centre to deal with PTSD. I had a bad acident myself 3 years ago  and have made an incredible recovery through keeping focused on the big picture and determination of the mind. I dedicated a large part of my life to researching and focusing on getting walking again and recovering physically and mentally from my unfortunate accident. In this time I have spoken to many people suffering to come to terms with what happend to them and with the help of your donations I travel to the houses and hospital beds in Mallorca helping accident victims from to deal mentally with their condition and get them on the road to recovery... Physical recovery starts in the mind... being living proof of this and having the I WILL DO IT attitude is the foundation to a full all round recovery. The money raised will be to enable me to help injured people that the Phisio department of the local hospitals put me in touch with The head of phisiotherapy who took personal time out to help me now chooses who he feels would benefit from the spending time with me. And puts us InTouch. Taking them out and actually helping them go through  the moves they do get to see first hand just how they can beat PTSD and live a happy life after trauma. Buying simple excersize equipment like a £20 balence board of an £90 home EMS tens unit (electronic muscle stimulator) and being shown how to use it can make a huge difference. Life changing  situations can  happen so fast... so fast that our brain struggles to cope with out new physical condition, mentally  holding someones hand through the adaptive stage of this mental transition from early on can save the detrimental effects of PTSD and has a life changing  positive effect all round.
