Zuni's lifesaving surgery

The other day when Zuni was in for his annual grooming and wellness check we discovered a 4 inch mass on his spleen. I was give a few options none of which I was prepared for, so it has taken me a day to gather my thoughts and do what is best for Zuni.

Zuni turned 10 last March, he is an otherwise very healthy boy. I have decided to move forward with a surgery to see exactly what we are dealing with. God willing this is just a mass which can be removed along with his spleen, and he will be fine. However we will not know for sure with what we are dealing with until his vet Dr Barb Cole goes in and takes a look around. I am not going to think about the worse case scenario but only look at the positive. So please do not ask. When there is more information I will, if I have to, adjust my plan accordingly. I know many of you out there love Zuni, please know he is being well taken care of.
The high Estimated cost of the surgery is $1300, I have added some additional money to cover the fundraising fees. If Zuni needs additional care  or aftercare I will post for that in the future.
