As immigrants living in Belgium from various West African countries, we have no mosque of our own, therefore no social and cultural and educational center. We have no place we converge for our social activities like marriage and child naming ceremonies as well as a place for our youth to converge. We have strong evidence that a lot of our youth are resorting to cafes and clubs and so they end up in bad companies.
In 2015 we signed a letter of intent to buy the Fatih Camii building for 350,000 Euro. The property consist of recreation area and Cafe, Men and Women praying rooms, Four classrooms, Wudhu area and toilets, Kitchen and storeroom, basement and a separate two bedroom house.
We have paid 20,000 Euro as deposit. Initially we requested to pay in installment, but the owners just informed us that we have till June to pay everything and get the keys to the property or risk losing the whole deal
At the moment we have managed to raise 75,000, that makes our total 95,000 Euro. We are left with 255,000 to pay fully. We appeal to the public to help us achieve this goal.
Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan? So He will increase it manifolds for him, and he will have a generous reward Quran 57:12
