Medical expenses from breast cancer

In December of 2018 I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. Although devastating I never lost hope, and have tried to stay positive. At the time my only concern was living another day for my children, being strong, positive and fighting through this battle was my only option. I have made it through chemotherapy, praise God, but still have several months to go before I am completely in the clear. As I can see the end in sight with just a lumpectomy and six and a half weeks of radiation ahead, I am reminded it is still a long road ahead. I won't be cleared to go back to work until at least late October, early November if everything goes right. Now that the fear from cancer is gone, I am slapped with the reality of the financial costs. Bills are already in collections and I have only begun to think about that part of this journey. Being diagnosed at the end of the year I am left with last years deductibles and out of pocket expenses and this years as well. I am so thankful for my insurance and disability but soon, my insurance switches to cobra (I have no idea how I'll be able to afford that) and my disability payments go down. Trust me when I say I did not want to ask for help financially, but at this point I dont know how else to take care of what is past due let alone the cost of insurance coming up.
