Gurley Family Fundraiser

Brandon Gurley had been helping his father feed cattle & while traveling back to the house he lost control of the recreational vehicle he was driving. It rolled numerous times and he sustained life threatening injuries. He was taken to Mother Francis hospital in Tyler & went in for immediate surgery for internal bleeding due to the abdominal trauma. They found multiple lacerations on his liver and spleen & he had to have part of his liver removed. They have kept him sedated due to the level of trauma and shock to his body. He has two broken ribs & a fractured pelvis. He will have another surgery to remove the gallbladder & possibly his spleen. They will also determine if surgery is needed for the pelvis fracture. Brandon is not out of the woods & has a long road to recovery. He has a wife, Erica Crabtree-Gurley, and a 3 year old son, Bennet Gurley.
