My Mother's Medical Fund

Donation protected
I'm a 20-year-old student at the University of Portsmouth and I'm raising money for my Mother.

My mother has been suffering from serious heart issues, uterus tumor and depression. My mother lives alone (in Poland), far away from me. She does not have anyone but me. Her illnesses isolated her from her old friends and indisposed her to meet new people. She is also not able to cope with daily duties such as cleaning, doing shopping or cooking. Her overall mental and physical condition isn't good. My Mother's doctor said she requires not only help with daily duties, but also a therapy and spend at least a month in a sanatorium.

Neither I or my Mother have the funds to be able to make that happen. My Mum's condition is continuously getting worse. I would do anything to help her, and I try my best. I have a part time job while studying at the University. I try to work as much as I can, but I am not able to save any money as I have to pay for my own accommodation and general "life"; as a European student, I do not receive the maintenance loan to cover my costs of living. Moreover, I have been suffering from anxiety and depression. My history with depression started at the age of 12; since then, I have been doing my best to improve and overcome my fears. I am a different person now; I work and perform very well at the University. Yet, I must admit sometimes I have anxiety attacks as well as days when I am unable to do anything, even sleep. Therefore, there is nothing more I can do to help my Mother, who is the person I love the most in the world, and that thought is slowly killing me. I can't look at her struggling so much.

The funds are needed quickly, as my Mother's condition is getting worse and worse. It hurts me when I talk to her via phone and I can hear the lack of life in her voice. I spend hours wondering if she was feeling well enough to get up and do something today, or if she isn't in the hospital when she doesn't pick up the phone. I just want her to get better.

Please help me to help her. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. I cannot even express how much that would mean to me. The life of my Mother is the most valuable thing in my own existence.

Thank you
