The Maynes Family Road to Recovery

On October 16, 2018 James and his 5 year old daughter Sarah Maynes were in a tragic accident.

On that Tuesday what was supposed to be a daddy daughter day ended in complete despair. Sarah’s daddy James took her to target to get a Halloween movie and ended up in the icu instead.

James and Sarah were walking across the crosswalk and were hit by a distracted driver. James was knocked back about 10 feet and noticed his daughter was pinned underneath the tire of the vehicle. The driver had no idea Sarah was pinned underneath her tire and James began yelling at her to back up and the woman was in shock of what happened and kept apologizing instead of backing up. After 5 to 10 seconds of James yelling at her to back up she finally did and Sarah was finally out from underneath the tire and her injuries were clear to see. James was the first to attend to her and the images of his daughter struggling to breathe with a bloodied face have been mentally traumatizing. Sarah has sustained multiple injuries and wounds and is expected to recover in time. James is the sole provider of his family and is now confronted with having to deal with taking care of his family, work and tending to his daughter's multiple medical appointments and dealing with his own PTSD.
 

The Maynes family are on a very long road to recovery and at this time we are asking for not only your prayers but aid for their living and medical costs. All donations will go to there living expenses and medical costs so they can focus on healing their bodies and minds from this horrific accident.
