Little Brooklyn is in hospital!

Recently we received a call about six abandoned kittens who needed a place to go. The nice people who rescued them couldn’t take care of them. So we took them in, and you all helped us come up with great names for them! Well now little Brooklyn (gray one in front near the food bowl) is very sick. She has a terrible upper respiratory which has made it impossible for her to take in nourishment and stay hydrated. Despite the valiant efforts of our care team, she needed to be hospitalized. So she is currently at North Kingstown vet hospital where she will be for a couple of days getting IV fluids and IV antibiotics. we are estimating that her care it will cost between $300 and $500. As a no kill shelter we do not euthanize when treatment and recovery are possible.  Please consider a donation for Brooklyn, and please share this gofundme! thank you and we will be posting updates!
