Zoe Provest is one of the most motivated students her teachers have met. She wants to be the first in her family to attend university, and to study medicine when she gets there.
But the high school in her home town of Walgett didn't cut it for Zoe. For many of its students attendance is a struggle, let alone an ATAR. The drought meant her parents could not afford boarding school. So Ms Provest took matters into her own hands.
At just 15 years old, the young Wiradjuri woman left her family behind and moved 300km south so she could do years 11 and 12 at Dubbo College. She rents a granny flat, works two jobs to pay for it and spends the rest of her spare time studying.
I was so inspired by Zoe's story please Help me me raise money to support Zoe's secondary and tertiary education.
