College Assistance

In the fall of 2019, I will be going to Angelo State University to continue my education. I plan on following my father's footsteps in majoring in communications and carrying on into radio.  During this transition in my life, I found my self in a hard situation. When I was 16 there was an unfortunate heartbreaking incident that happened in my life.   In the fall of 2016, my dad had passed away suddenly.  Through his life, he built up his life insurance in order to support my brother and I, in our college dreams. Disappointingly, because of his second marriage, the money was not received. My stepmother failed to recognize this agreement between herself and my dad in order to send me to college. Because of this situation, I have found myself in a difficult time finding a way to fund my college. For Angelo State, the cost for a semester is $11,000. I know that it is a lot to ask for, but anything will help me reach my father's dreams to continue my education.
