Hi All,
I'm hoping to raise some funds to help out my sister and brother in law who are facing a tough and challenging time...After the joy of delivering their first baby, they quickly found out, their precious little man, Elijah, was seriously unwell with 3 congenital heart problems that would require immediate surgery at 4 days old as well as ongoing surgeries over the upcoming months and years. Over a whirlwind couple of days they have been transferred to the paediatric intensive care unit at the Royal Childrens Hospital, with little Eli placed on a ventilator to await surgery. Today the first of those surgeries was performed, and now little Eli remains on life support in a stable but critical condition. My sister has been told he is very unwell and they are in for a long haul - with Eli likely to have to remain in hospital until his next surgery in 6-9 months. And so I have started this page to help fund their ongoing everyday costs associated with staying near the hospital, travel, parking, food, lost wages/not being able to go back to work and ongoing medical expenses.
