TeamAddison 2nd Relapse With Cancer

**NEW UPDATE- Addison has relapsed once again with this horrible disease. While getting her routine chemo she had her 3 month follow up chemo scans and it showed new disease progressing. Since then she has had radiation again and now chemo. We travel to Jacksonville 3 times a week every week with one week break at the end of the month. It's very tiring, mentally and physically exhausting. We could really use some extra prayers for our girl & our family!! This is becoming so much to handle! Thank you for praying.
**JAN 2017 UPDATE: Addison is still currently receiving Chemo treatments in Jacksonville Florida. We travel every 2 weeks and stay for 5 days while she gets her chemo everyday. As of now Addisons cancer is still there. We appreciate all the donations, and support! Thank you everyone for everything & always keep us in your prayers.
**ORIGINAL POST 2014: Addison got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (Rhabdomyosarcoma) on Feb. 27th 2014. Since then Addison has went thru many chemo treatments, 7 weeks of radiation treatments..etc..
She is currently done with treatments but still has to go to Jacksonville for port flush, and scans.
On July 13th Addison had a CT scan of her chest abdomen and pelvis to check the spots that were on her lungs and spine since her last radiation treatment. We got the results today and unfortunately the spots on her lungs are still there. The place on her hip is also still there but has gotten a lot smaller over the course of time and the spot that was on her spine is still there but the doctors aren't sure if it's scar tissue or not. We are hoping and praying that is just scar tissue and the only thing left is her lungs and hopefully they will get smaller and go away. If not then in a few months she will need more radiation to her lungs. The doctor also said with the spots still viseable they have to be watched VERY closely to make sure the cancer does not return. But on a good note there is no new places on her and nothing has gotten bigger, everything has gotten smaller!!! On Sunday July 19th, we will have to travel back to Jacksonville for Addison to have an MRI, and bone scan to check the rest of her body. As you all may know traveling is very expensive and we also have to pay for our own hotel expenses because the RMH is currently full and won't have anything available until September/October. I was really hoping to update everyone today and say Addison was clear, but unfortunately cancer is a mean disease! But I know with God and all the prayers we will get thru this, and Addison will be cancer free!! Thank you everyone for the prayers, and donations. It really means more to us than anyone can think. We could use all the support and help during this time. Anything helps right now and we couldn't thank you enough!
