Michael's amputation expense fund!

Donation protected
Recently my brother, Michael Bearss, and his recently wed wife, Erin Bearss were swimming in  pond. Michael had a blister on his foot and a few pebbles found their way into his foot through the blister. However, he did not feel these pebbles until a few days after the event. Ever since he was a boy, Michael has struggled with type 1 diabetes. One of the side affects is a loss of feeling due to bad circulation (neuropathy) especially in the feet, which is the cause of many diabetic amputations. This was the case for Michael who is now only 42 years old. A few days after their swim he noticed his foot swelling and turning different colors.  He made an appointment to see a doctor and under examination they immediately sent him to the hospital thinking they may have to amputate his foot. Upon examining, doctors told Michael there was a serve infection in his foot due to a lodged pebble that had been embedded in and infecting his foot.  He simply couldn't feel it due to the neuropathy. He has had 2 surgeries on his foot and the doctors want him to receive hyperbaric therapy. They believe these treatments will be a key factor in helping save his foot from amputation. The treatments are$2000 each and he needs a minimum of 30. We are trying to raise $75,000 to help cover the cost of the treatments and other accrued medical bills. Thank you for your financial support and your prayers.
