Zambia Scholarship Fund Documentary

$2,780 of $10,000 goal

We are heading out to the bush to film a documentary on Zambia Scholarship Fund. An organization who has spent the past 20 years providing children and young adults the only opportunity they’d ever have at an education.

ZSF sponsors children in 60 different schools from elementary to college. Students who graduate from these colleges often become teachers paid by ZSF who go back to the schools to teach future students. ZSF also helps the people of Zambia become self sufficient with initiatives like their current solar panel project which has already provided 7 schools with panels that charge lanterns children use to study with and to travel the long distance to and from school.

100% of donations to Zambia Scholarship fund go directly to these underprivileged children which is why they have been able to support kids thus far. While there are a lot of non profits for a lot of great causes out there it’s pretty remarkable that this organization doesn’t even pay themselves organizational costs.  They have supported these kids solely from the efforts of the members of the organization, their friends and family, and a few blank volunteers.

We want to use the education we have so fortunately received to help the children of Zambia get the same opportunity. We are confident that providing a documentary and a new website highlighting the real life of Zambia children and the very real work of this organization will help bring in more donors and ultimately change their lives.

We want to support ZSF by telling the story of their 20 year long journey and we need your help!

Please consider donating to our project.
Thank you.

A little update:
Amber and I are planning our Zambia trip which will be underway in less than a month, crazy!
She has begun the preliminary work on the ZSF website. I have secured a quality used video camera that will be perfect for the difficult conditions we'll face. We're both thrilled to venture out and tell story of these students and teachers.
This project is moving forward but we still need your support to succeed so please help us by donating or sharing this link with your friends and family.
Thank you!

We have reached over 10% of our donation goal but we still need a lot of help. Please consider donating to our documentary and website project to help Zambia Scholarship Fund. If you can donate as little as 20 dollars, or share this link with your friends and family, it would be an enormous help. Thank you again for your support.
