Zally Needs Spinal Surgery

Donation protected
As many know, I, Zally, have been in the hospital since Thursday September 27th, 2018. I am having surgery on my spine on Monday October 1st, 2018.

Starting in June 2018 I had issues with numbness, tingling, and burning in my left hand. After going to the doctor, I was told I had carpal tunnel and prescribed Voltaren gel which made my condition seem worse. All of a sudden my left knee/leg had weakness, numbness, and stiffness. This grew worse over the past couple of months as it became more difficult to walk.  After having an MRI on Friday September 21, 2018 the radiologist discovered that there is compression on my cervical spine, as shown in the picture above. As well as herniated discs and spinal cord deformity. The findings are as follows:

1. Cervicothoracic levoscoliosis.
2. Reversal of the cervical lordosis.
3. C2-3 level:  Shallow disc herniation impresses upon the thecal sac with mild central stenosis. Neural foramina are patent.
4. C3-4 level:  Disc herniation impresses upon the thecal sac with central stenosis and cord deformity. No change in cord signal. Neural foramina are narrowed on the right and patent on the left.
5. C4-5 level:  Severe central stenosis with cord deformity. No change in cord signal. There is increased signal within the cord suggesting significant cord compression. The AP diameter of the central spinal canal is decreased to 3.5 mm. Recommend correlation with the clinical findings. Neural foramina are severely stenotic bilaterally, most stenotic on the left. Herniation extends across the disc space both superiorly and inferiorly over approximately 1.6 cm. Anterior disc bulge and spondylosis displace the prevertebral soft tissues.
6. C5-6 level:  Disc herniation impresses upon the thecal sac. Hypertrophy of the uncovertebral joints narrows the bilateral lateral recesses. Neural foramina are stenotic bilaterally, most stenotic on the left. Anterior disc bulge with spondylosis displace the prevertebral soft tissues.
7. C6-7 level:  Disc herniation impresses upon the thecal sac with mild central stenosis and cord deformity. No change in cord signal. Neural foramina are patent.

Lately it has been very difficult to get around and one day I fell. I was admitted to the hospital and surgery is the only option. Because of all of this I have not been able to work or do any shows, since I am also a reggae artist. These funds will help with costs related to surgery, bills, and recovery/physical therapy. Any support is greatly appreciated in this time. Blessed.

UPDATE:

Thank you for all the donations. Surgery went well, but was an extended surgery. Took longer than expected and had to make an incision in the front and back of the neck. Originally was just going to be the front.
