Zad's Vegan Persian is a boutique food company based out of lovely Brooklyn, NY since 2015. We've done popups and shopups, and sold food at parties and bars. Now we have an opportunity to open a standalone shop in vibrant, quirky Bushwick—but we need your help!
Our food is based on traditional Persian recipes, with everything modernized and made completely vegan and cruelty free. We specialize in dishes like fesenjoon, a pomegranate walnut stew, and gormeh sabzi, made with a slew of herbs and green veggies. We also add homemade seitan with a Persian-seasoned twist. Everything is full of unusual flavors and organic and local ingredients.
Opening up a standalone shop will allow us to reach a broader audience of hungry, curious Brooklynites. Please help out with a few dollars toward the cost of rent and ingredients—anyone who donates $15 or more gets a free meal once we're up and running.
